Luckily I dont need to buy so many gifts. :) I just need to think of what I am doing in one month..

Family is Everything!

Got a wonderful visit from Mom & Jari. My sister came here, from Iceland, for the weekend as well.. :) We had an awesome weekend in lovely Copenhagen. Tivoli, strøget, bodega, crazy taxi drivers, "pølse", Pulled pork, beer! We did it all. ;)

Friends from Sweden wanted to be in Denmark for a couple of days and took the chance to meet me. So it ended in a nice evening out in the city. Awesome to see that I am not the only one growing up :P

Dream Eurotrip

I have to, once in my life, take a roadtrip through europe. I really want to backpack through Europe. But I feel I am getting to old for that :/ It needs to be safe and comfortable. :D Fuck I feel boring. :P I do want to backpack. But somethings holding me back. :) Lets just leave it at that.
Just take a big van or camper and take a drive by europes coast. :) I would love to do that. Thats gonna be my next project. :D

I love living in Copenhagen :) I am so glad that I moved here. It totally changed my life for the better!
I just Love it here. The people are (mostly) nice, the city is beautiful (when they are not building the metro, which is in 5 years), you can drink beer anywhere/anytime you want (unlike Sweden), And there is Christiania! A wonderful little place in the middle of the city. outside of eu ;) Where you can be You! (when the Cops are not around) Yes, there is Upsides and downsides, but I try to focus on the upsides, as much as possible. ;)

The “Plant Reproductive Material Law” regulates all plants. It contains restrictions on vegetables and woodland trees, as well as all other plants of any species. It will be illegal to grow, reproduce, or trade any vegetable seed or tree that has not been tested and approved by the government, more specifically the “EU Plant Variety Agency.” This agency will be responsible for making a list of approved plants and an annual fee must also be forwarded to the agency if growers would like to keep what they grow on the list. The new law basically puts the government in charge of all plants and seeds in Europe, and prevents home gardeners from growing their own plants from non-regulated seeds. If they did, they would now be considered criminals."

This law will immediately stop the professional development of vegetable varieties for home gardeners, organic growers and small scale market farmers. Home gardeners have really different needs – for example they grow by hand, not machine, and can’t or don’t want to use such powerful chemical sprays. There’s no way to register the varieties suitable for home use as they don’t meet the strict criteria of the PLant Variety Agency, which is only concerned about approving the sort of seed used by industrial farmers – Ben Gabel, Director of The Real Seed Catalogue

Books! :D

Well I finally got myself together and bought books. :P I bought the 50 shades of grey trilogy :) A good offer that I couldnt refuse, right by the cash register, while I am standing in line.
Sneaky bastards, its like they knew :P

50 Shades of grey, trilogy.

Quick- pickled Jalapeno :)

I have been wondering what to do with the Jalapenos, how I should try to keep them as long as possible without them going to waste.
Both me and my boyfriends likes those store bought pickled jalapeno very much. So I thought that I could try to make them myself. And Can it ;) And it turned out to be a whole lot easier than i thought :)

I didnt make so much. I want to try it before I use All the chillies, you know.
It would be a shame if it tasted like shit :P

Here is a simple recipe to quick pickled jalapenos.

You need:

• 10 Jalapenos
• 1 Cup water
• 1 Cup white vinegar
• 4 Tbsp sugar
• 2 Tbsp salt
• 2 cloves garlic
• Whole black pepper (optional)

Pour the water and vinegar in a medium sized sauce pan.
Put the garlic, sugar, salt and pepper in the vinegarwater. ¨
Bring it to boil. stir it a little bit until the sugar and salt is gone :)
Now put the sliced jalapeno in the vinegarwater and take the sauce pan of the heat after about 30 seconds. pres the jalapenos in the water a little bit so they get all soaked.

Let it stand for 15 minutes until they get the ugly colour :) 

Put the slices in the clean jars, pour the vinegar over the rings. Let it stay in room temperature until it cools down a bit before you put it in the fridge :) 

Slice the Jalapeno. (remember gloves)

I didnt have any black pepper at home so i settled without it.

I have not canned this one, it is way to little in it. And I cant wait for 2 months until I can taste it.

I love Sundays :) They are so cosy. I am a little hungover today, but not so bad as it usually is :) I was clever yesterday. :P I drank water the whole evening so I wouldnt feel bad today, and it worked :)
So I made pancakes for breakfast this morning. Delicious! (recipe coming)

Went for a little drive today, and stopped for a shawarma at a Kebab Bar. And they have started to sell kebab in china boxes. with, fries and salad. So cool Idea. I never seen this before :) And it was good too. ;)

Fishing & meditating :)

Went Fishing with the Dogs today ;) We made some sandwiches and packed the fishing equipment and went to Ishøj Havn to try to catch something. :) We had No luck with us this time,. But not a wasted day for that. ;) Just so relaxing to sit and stare into the water. It just flushed away all my thoughts. Total meditation. ;)

People forget what really matters in all the stress and success. We dont take time to ourselves, we never meditate or connect with the nature in any way. We are so stressed out, thinking too much..
When I feel stressed or negative in any way, I just go to the forest, nearest park or to the Beach. Just a nature place. Take my shoes of, take a deap breath and dont think. It is so relaxing, makes you happier, and it makes you feel free from all the negative thoughts. It is imoprtant to connect with the earth. We are going to be under it one day, after all.

I have to start to meditate more. Turn the Tv of more often and enjoy silence. :)

Brunch With Banana!

Today I had to go on a meeting at HK in the City, so I can get money. Very Important meeting ;)
So I took the Bike this morning and i went there. Thinking that i knew exactly where it was. I have been driving pass this Big Glass Building, HK writed in Big letters. So its not hard to miss.
But when I came there, 5 minutes before the meeting starts, and i lock my bike and start to walk over to the entrance, People with suits are staring at me with big eyes, and when I come to the door, its locked. I try to find a doorbell, but there is only this swap thing for cards. I realise that i am in the wrong fucking place! 3 minutes until the meeting starts, I am running over to the bike to unlock it, and meanwhile I am finding the address on my phone, trying to find it on gps, and I start to bike the direction its telling me. I bicycle until the trafficlight, which is red so i have to stop, and i look at the gps, and can see that i have taken the wrong direction! Fucking Heelll!!! The time is 9.00 The meeting has started, and I get so frustrated, like i always do when things go wrong. So everythin went wrong. I almost got hit by a car i fell over a guy and his dog, I dropped my phone, several times, oh damn, what a trip. Then I found the place. 9.10 On the total opposite side! So weird! It doesnt say HK anywhere, but I went inside, and there was like 50 people in there.
And the Fucking meeting had not even started yet! Ohh I was so pissed! I was so pissed I even smoked a Cigarette! Haha!

After the meeting I went to Banana for some Brunch a la Banana & Bullshit talk :D First thing I could smell when I came in was her delicious Baked Bread :P

It is so beautiful. :) The Leaves are so Big, and it uses alot of the water/fertilizer to keep them alive. So we decided to cut the big leaves of the stock. So it can use the enrgy on the fruits :) It totally looks like a little tree now. Cute. :)

Now there are alot of red ones. :) I suppose they are mature now :P But we already fed one to one of our friends :P Or he really really wanted to try to taste it. The need to read

I have been wanting to read a book for a long time, but I cant find any book that seem interesting enough.
I want to read something that I can learn something from. Not all these love bullshit books. Its not really Me. :P So I need to find a educational, interesting book. It sound like a mission :P
Maybe books abour the Orion mystery, or the ancient egyptian secrets :)

I have been looking at the book stores, and there is nothing to get there :P just all these bullshit love books and crappy biographys about football players! BULLSHIT! I need some good books! I think i need to go to the library :P
I have been hearing a lot about these 50 shades of grey books. Many of my friends read it, and recommend it. But I dont know :P Maybe I can start with that. while I find a better book. :)

Crazy Colour Shifting

The Ghost Chili is starting to freak me Out! ;) It is changing from this crazy dark purple, to light purple, and then it goes to light green. And Now Orange/Red  :D Awesome Plant! So giving. There is like 70 Chili fruits on two trees :)

I bought some swedish stuff in Sweden when we were there. I cant go to Sweden and Not Buy OLW Cheese Doodles! Oh That would be a crime! Today I am going swedish and cooking some fiskbullar and eating a little Kex Chocolate & cheese doodles for dessert! mmm. :D
